About the event
Are you interested in mental health? Would you like to learn how to spot signs of poor mental health in others, how to find appropriate support, and confidently start conversations around mental health?
SRUC School of Veterinary Medicine is hosting the Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons (RCVS) Mind Matters Initiative (MMI), offering a two-day in person Mental Health First Aider course at the SRUC Aberdeen campus on 16-17 June. The course is delivered by Green Ribbons and certified by Public Health Scotland.
It is open to all members of the veterinary professions, including veterinary surgeons, veterinary nurses, students, receptionists and practice managers. At the end of the training, you will receive your MHFA qualification, and you can count this towards your CPD.
